The i400 plugs into the mains power supply and is ready to use immediately. Lamp cartridges provide the optimum light energy for treatment throughout their fixed lifetime; they are just as powerful on their 10,000th shot as their first. The computer alerts the operator when the lamp needs to be replaced…a ten second task for the operator just like changing a normal light bulb.
